I worked two to three jobs at a time:
restaurants, teaching, banking.
Trying to figure out my next move
after graduating college.
I joined Mary Kay part-time, quickly rose to the top 1 % in under a year, led 55+ women, earned three career cars and international trips. I fell in love (HARD) with entrepreneurship and leadership.
I pivoted from direct-sales and launched Hannah Joy Company as a virtual assistant. I served incredible businesses across the U.S., built backend systems and marketing that actually worked and I signed my first two long-term clients while pregnant with Lyla.
In the midst of two babies under 3 yrs old, postpartum fog, and a highly toxic and emotionally abusive marriage, I dropped most of my clients in order to survive. I realized I couldn’t keep trading hours for dollars. I had no capacity.
Something had to change.
After 4 more years of living in survival mode I filed for divorce, pivoted my business and faced the fear of becoming my own breadwinner while being a full-time mom. I relaunched Hannah Joy Co. not as a VA agency but as a strategy studio for other ambitious women in messy seasons.
Currently still building through chaos in an effort to show what’s possible for other entrepreneurs. Starting from scratch with new accounts, new programs, and a new mission has been HARD... but I'm so happy you're here to witness that imperfection can still print receipts.
My story isn’t polished. It’s proof that you can build results in real time, even when life feels impossible.

Boat days on the lake (any lake) will always
be my happy place.
My older brother and younger sister
are my best friends.
My mother is the best person I have ever known. My hero in every-way.
I’m looking for a true partnership;
someone I can build with, not just date.
Think Leila and Alex–style energy
(bonus points if you get the reference).

I’m a Disney-Adult. It's not logical, it's just a part of me
(yes, I cry at the fireworks).
I am a proud Christian. I love Jesus and would have
nothing in my life if it wasn’t for Him.
My kids are my world. Creating experiences, memories, and
teaching them to grow up to be kind, well-rounded people in
this chaotic world is my ultimate purpose.
I thrive on personal growth and future-casting, but I’m not your
rah-rah cheerleader. I’ll hold you accountable as well.
Caffeine, notebooks, and delusional ambition are my power-trio.

Chaos doesn’t disqualify you.
You don’t need a niche to start.
Receipts > Reasons.
Ambition beats circumstance.
Action beats perfection.
